The 'introduce yourself' is similar to going to a meeting and you all sit in a circle and have to tell everyone your name and bit about yourself. Ugh . Anyways here goes .. I am Ian and based in the UK, Lancashire (Red Rose County), coding and repair vehicle audio for local car audio specialists and dealerships. (Not direct to the public). Primarily we repair vehicle audio, 1991 is one of the oldest files I have for decoding - the first 'coded' unit - Philips DC751, fitted to Vauxhall vehicles. I guess that means that I have been decoding radios for over 22 years and repairing it for a little longer. No I don't remember value car radios, but some of my colleagues do! As there was no 'equipment' available at that time for decoding I wrote my own and that is how I have done it ever since. I prefer to know how the unit thinks and have a vast database of EEprom and micro images. Also link tables and 'stand-on-one-leg' short cuts! If you want to know about the older unit then I am probably a good person to ask, I am always willing to share information. Have a small mountain of service manuals, which we have started to throw away (not something I find easy to do) I don't know everything, theses days it is almost impossible to especially due to the way things change so fast and are that integrated into the vehicle. What do I do when I am not up to my neck in radio bits, go out competing on my horse!

Hello everybody!! I am Nicolas, some of you know me from old mobile-files forum I decode units since 2005... not too much time, but I learnt a lot , I was lucky to work on the biggest market in my country called "calle Libertad" (5 blocks long) all new radios go there... so I always had NEW stuff to decode all stores from there took me radios to decode.... I worked a few years, and then I moved to motorola IDEN phones. I coded several apps for iden phones, and I left a little behind decoding (I was and I am still working as decoder at home) it seems I will code some calculators to ease the work.... I learnt some reversing for cracking too thanks for your invitation!!
